Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Modesto, CA. As a key member of our commercial lines team, you will be responsible for managing a book of insurance business, providing exceptional client service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of insurance clients, providing professional and courteous service to meet their needs and exceed expectations.
  • Work closely with producers and other HUB personnel to develop and implement client service strategies, marketing initiatives, and renewal plans.
  • Oversee the preparation and implementation of transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts.
  • Analyze client insurance objectives and compare insurance plans to determine suitability.
  • Coordinate the implementation of client strategic plans, including value-added services such as risk assessments, contract reviews, and claims reviews.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve complex service issues and negotiate with underwriters and carriers.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell of other HUB products and services.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and organized account files, ensuring the accuracy of data and updating all HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in insurance account management or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and agency management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of discretion, autonomy, and decision-making.
