Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced facilities professional to join our team as an Operations & Maintenance Manager. This role will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring the highest level of service to our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the maintenance and operational integrity of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure systems.
  • Develop and implement standards and practices to improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities team to ensure successful delivery of contracted maintenance services to meet site needs.
  • Lead facilities support employees and contractors to deliver operations services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Coordinate response to emergency situations that may impact operations.
  • Work closely with Facilities Services Manager to identify, monitor, and update preventive and planned maintenance programs for the long-term preservation of the buildings.
  • Use building data integration, visualization, and analytical tools to monitor and manage the operations portfolio.
  • Work closely with Environment, Health and Safety, Construction Project Managers, Security and IS&T organizations.
  • Skilled in creating, developing, and managing capital and operating budgets related to operations portfolio.
  • Experienced in providing a variety of service types with bold schedule and budget challenges.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working in a fast-paced multi-facility environment, with a focus on providing the best possible service to a demanding group of customers and experience on maintain and operate infrastructure systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with people management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment and maintain high levels of efficiency without direct supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively and provide direction to contractors and vendors performing services for the company.
  • Strong finance, budgeting, and analytic skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving proficiency.
  • Must have the ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, and address any issues that arise day or night.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring multi-functional teams together within and outside the Real Estate & Development function, including Security, IS&T, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Procurement to ensure standard methodologies and continual process improvement.
  • Detail-oriented.
Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
