About the Role

The North Carolina League of Municipalities is seeking a highly skilled Event Marketing Manager to join their Strategic Communications and Member Engagement team. This key role will play a crucial part in developing and executing physical and virtual event planning and marketing for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, speaker and logistics management, and vendor management.
  • Manage and coordinate webinars using on-demand tools, including tasks related to set-up, promotion, and execution.
  • Provide support for on-site events as needed, handling logistical tasks such as shipments, registrations, team prep, travel, and signage set-up and take-down.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing campaign strategies and tasks related to events, including registration, advertising, outreach, social media strategies, and posts.
  • Assist in the creation of event creative assets, messaging, collateral, and giveaways, working in collaboration with the broader communications team.
  • Manage events calendar and assist with internal awareness and promotion using communication tools.

Qualifications
