Tanager, Inc. is a leading information technology firm dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to clients across the nation. We are currently seeking a Travel Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION:
Temporary remote role with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position with full company benefits.
Compensation: $22.00/hr to $25.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and arrange travel logistics: This includes booking flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other transportation needs.
  • Manage travel coordination: Ensure all travel details are meticulously organized, including itineraries, travel documents, and schedules.
  • Resolve travel-related challenges: Address any issues or changes that may arise during travel, such as cancellations or delays.
  • Maintain accurate travel documentation: Keep detailed records of travel expenses, bookings, and itineraries.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and vendors: Liaise with employees, travel agencies, and vendors to fulfill all travel requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to policies: Comply with company travel policies and budgetary constraints.
  • Assist with expense reporting: Support the reconciliation process for employee travel expense reports.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple travel arrangements and details concurrently.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in bookings, itineraries, and travel documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients and vendors.
  • Capability to handle unexpected travel issues and provide swift solutions.
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines and accommodate last-minute changes.
  • Experience in managing travel expenses and identifying cost-effective travel solutions.
  • Adept at handling various tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Negotiation skills with vendors for improved rates and services.

Education and Experience:

  • A college degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in travel coordination or a comparable role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
