We are looking for a Caregiver Support Supervisor to play a crucial role in our Resource Care Team, helping to realize Amara's vision. The Caregiver Support Supervisor will oversee the development, implementation, and management of staff executing the new state contract for the Caregiver Support Program, which assists children and youth placed in formal care with kinship caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management for Case Aide Services
• Identify, propose, and implement enhancements for the Caregiver Support Program, particularly in Case Aide services, in collaboration with team feedback and under the guidance of the Caregiver Support Program Manager and Director of Resource Care.
• Develop and execute onboarding and training materials for all Case Aide personnel in accordance with contract stipulations.
• Establish and enforce processes and protocols for Case Aide operations across Amara's various programs.
• Collaborate with the Caregiver Support Program Manager to formulate the annual budget for the Caregiver Support Program, providing insights specific to Case Aide services, anticipated revenue, and related expenses.

Supervision and Management of Caregiver Support Staff
• Under the direction of the Director of Resource Care and the Caregiver Support Manager, lead a team of Caregiver Support Specialists and Case Aides serving the entire Caregiver Support Program area.
• Train all Caregiver Support Specialists and Case Aides on all facets of Case Aide responsibilities, ensuring effective assessment of needs and implementation of services.
• Oversee and support the Case Aide team, including recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, supervision, evaluation, and promotion of staff.

Direct Service Provision
• Maintain a manageable caseload to address the program's needs, which will evolve over time. Assess and support youth and families with Case Aide Services and/or Caregiver Support Services as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:
• A BSW or equivalent in social services, human services, behavioral science, or a related field is required; an MSW or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in providing healing-centered or trauma-informed care.
• At least 2 years of experience in child welfare or social services, with lived experience accounting for up to 2 years of this requirement.
• Preferred 1+ years of supervisory or administrative experience in social services.

Education: BSW or BA/BS degree in social services, human services, behavioral science, or a related field. An MSW or MA/MS in an allied field can substitute for up to two years of experience.
