As a key member of the Digital Platforms team at CAPITASTAR Pte Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution and digitalization of the retail and workspace landscape. Your primary focus will be on managing key platform programs, including CapitaStar, CapitaStar for Business, CapitaVoucher, CapitaCard, and others. You will work closely with the team to drive business sustainability through profitability and value, while injecting innovation and creating seamless customer experiences for CapitaLand's commercial, retail businesses, shopping malls, merchant, and partner networks.
This is an excellent opportunity for a high-caliber Business Development professional to join our team. You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling solutioning products to partners and retailers. You will also develop pipelines through a combination of cold-calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge/intelligence. Additionally, you will seek out and develop long-term relationships with potential, new, and existing strategic partners and retailers, structure and negotiate commercial deals, and drive key business development initiatives from creation of new revenue streams to implementation of new solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling solutioning products to partners and retailers
- Develop pipelines through a combination of cold-calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge/intelligence
- Seek out and develop long-term relationships with potential, new, and existing strategic partners and retailers
- Structure and negotiate commercial deals that contribute to positive and sustainable business outcomes for Digital Platforms
- Drive key business development initiatives from creation of new revenue streams to implementation of new solutions
- Manage multiple project timelines to implement campaigns for partners and retailers
- Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including product, tech, analytics, legal, marketing, operations, and finance to launch partner and retailer campaigns
- Provide end-to-end partner and retailer support by being the main point of contact and proactively resolving any business or technical issues
- Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative trends related to the business
- Initiate reviews with partners and retailers, and strategise on how to further optimize results and outcomes
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Account Management, selling Merchant Solutions, or Media Advertising Solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships and think creatively about partnership opportunities
- Target-driven and proven self-starter with the ability to deliver targets in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, high tenacity, and comfortable working in a collaborative and dynamic environment
- Proven ability to juggle multiple accounts and projects at a time, while maintaining attention to detail
- Passionate about technology trends, retail solutions, and experiences
