Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for new employees, offering essential support to candidates and hiring managers throughout the onboarding process.
- Ensure prompt entry of employee documentation into E-Verify.
- Distribute onboarding invitations via our HRIS, collaborating closely with recruiters to confirm that all new hires have completed necessary documentation.
- Oversee the timely execution and completion of onboarding workflows for each new employee.
- Organize, schedule, and facilitate new hire orientations and onboarding activities to ensure a seamless integration into the organization.
- Maintain compliance with all HR processes while upholding a high level of confidentiality.
- Manage and update HR information, accurately inputting critical new hire details such as salary, title, reporting manager, and benefits changes.
- Ensure the integrity of record-keeping for all employees, organizing and updating personnel records within our HRIS.
- Conduct regular audits of HRIS files and records to verify that all required documents are collected and stored appropriately.
- Identify innovative methods to enhance the onboarding experience for new employees.
- Collaborate with various departments to support HR initiatives, including recruiting, hiring managers, IT, security, and payroll, to improve processes and policy effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of HR policies.
- Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in human resources.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to quickly learn payroll management systems, human resource information systems (HRIS), and related applications.
This position operates in a professional office setting with a noise level that is generally low to moderate. The role involves routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The incumbent may be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to manipulate objects, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. The workload may necessitate prolonged periods of sitting. The incumbent must be capable of reading, performing basic math calculations, and managing moderate stress levels. Occasionally, the role may require lifting and/or moving items up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
