The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for executing daily functions to guarantee that all payments are accurately recorded in the Accounts Receivable ledger, adhering to the policies and procedures set forth by Kuresmart.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages and distributes corporate mail on a daily basis.
  • Reconciles payment batches to ensure timely posting to patient accounts.
  • Confirms that all deposits are made promptly by the Operations team.
  • Reconciles all deposits with bank statements.
  • Processes relevant task buckets efficiently.
  • Conducts the third-party collections process for medical groups monthly, ensuring compliance with corporate policy prior to sending accounts to collection agencies.
  • Ensures that all funds collected by collection agencies are accurately posted to patient accounts, with updates to patient notes and statuses.
  • Reviews unapplied patient credits to confirm accurate application of payments in patient accounts.
  • Monitors the Unpostables Dashboard daily, ensuring timely completion of all applicable work categories.
  • Assesses patient unapplied balances weekly.
  • Adheres to internal controls designed to safeguard the company's assets against theft or fraud.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates reports as directed.
  • Maintains confidentiality in all areas, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participates in and completes all required training and in-service sessions.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with medical professionals, colleagues, and the public.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Flexible schedule availability.
  • Demonstrates patience and understanding in stressful situations related to patient health.
  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Exhibits extreme attention to detail.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills.
  • Adept at problem-solving and reasoning.
  • Meets predefined quality standards consistently.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Familiarity with the healthcare sector and medical specialties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Driving/Travel Requirements:

The employee must have reliable transportation. While the primary workplace may be closest to the employee's home, work assignments could be in any of the Company's locations.
