Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at WL Plastics LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including mechanical and electromechanical systems
  • Respond to plant breakdowns and unplanned outages, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with operations personnel to diagnose and troubleshoot plant equipment problems
  • Participate in core-cause analysis associated with equipment failures
  • Assist in the startup of equipment after maintenance completion
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a continuous process industry
  • Post-secondary education in a technical field or equivalent combination of work experience and education
  • Strong initiative, adaptability, and communication skills
  • Ability to work safely in a production environment, with physical stamina to perform job-related tasks
Work Environment

This position combines hands-on technical analysis and administrative tasks, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.

Time will be spent among office, production floor, and lab areas, with a large majority of time spent working on the production floor.

  • Work closely with managers, supervisors, office staff, and plant personnel
  • Ability to work inside/outside in all weather conditions, including seasonally hot or cold temperatures and in climate weather
