### Job Summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced Connectivity Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our networks.

### Responsibilities

* Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
* Configure and troubleshoot network devices, protocols, and services (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS)
* Ensure network security, compliance, and governance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize network needs
* Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
* Participate in on-call rotation for network support

### Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on connectivity
* Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and technologies
* Experience with Juniper and/or Cisco network devices and software
* Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or Terraform (highly desirable)
* Strong knowledge of network security and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

### Nice to Have

* Experience with network automation and orchestration tools
* Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid environments
* Azure Express Route/And/or AWS Direct Connect a plus
* Certification in network engineering (e.g., JNCIP, CCNP)
* Experience with agile development methodologies
