About the Role

AssetWorks Inc. is seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead its internal IT operations, including datacenter infrastructure, virtualized environments, patch management, VPN management, IT security, disaster recovery, software and hardware supplier management, and laptop/desktop support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, coupled with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT management strategies and policies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee application and infrastructure architecture, design, deployment, and management.
  • Manage IT hardware and software vendors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in hardware and software acquisition, support, and management.
  • Experience with Oracle, VMWare, Cisco, and Dell infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of IT project management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of IT professionals.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in managing security compliance, including the implementation and maintenance of security measures to uphold SOC2 and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Conversant with network management and the broader network ecosystem.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management and Endpoint Management.
  • Experience in penetration testing and IT security planning and incident response.
  • Certifications in data management and IT Security. CISO-like experience a plus.
