Your Role:
The Heavy Equipment Service Technician will be responsible for the following:

  • Traveling to various job sites to perform necessary repairs.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilizing diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Making adjustments and replacing defective components as needed.
  • Repairing and restoring damaged parts of equipment.
  • Performing routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and servicing heavy-duty vehicles and machinery.
  • Executing major repairs when required.
  • Reporting any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to management.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Demonstrated experience as a diesel or heavy equipment technician.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • A DOT Medical card, which is necessary for operating company vehicles.
  • The ability to work outside of regular hours when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to embrace innovative approaches.

Preferred Skills:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:

  • A strong work ethic, integrity, and dependability.
  • Experience in diesel and/or heavy equipment mechanics.

Safety Gear:
