As a Material Handler at Kohl's, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement and processing of merchandise. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns, and loading and unloading trailers.
  • Inputting data to prepare reports and providing high-quality internal and external customer service, including communicating with vendors, associates, and locations to resolve disputes and review compliance.
  • Contributing to a safe work environment by following all company, state, local, and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations, and promptly reporting any potential violations to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
  • Complying with all company policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including those related to accuracy and productivity.
  • Maintaining regular and acceptable attendance as set by the company and adhering to the requirement of working any designated shift and overtime as requested per business and operational needs.

What You'll Do

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and processing merchandise in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including vendors and associates.
  • Contributing to a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety protocols and reporting any potential hazards.
  • Meeting productivity and accuracy standards, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
