As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for mixing and packaging Company products, maintaining inventory levels, and assisting in shipping and receiving products and materials in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual warehouse duties as assigned or advised.
  • Load and unload company trucks, common carriers, and customer vehicles using a forklift and other required equipment.
  • Ship and receive products according to company procedures and requirements.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the warehouse facility.
  • Serve on the company's in-plant or off-site emergency response team.
  • Place hazardous materials or waste into appropriate containers.
  • Receive, unload, and place into storage hazardous waste received from off-site generators; complete inspections and paperwork associated with receiving and storing hazardous waste.
  • Properly manage hazardous waste while inside container storage area or otherwise under company responsibility or controls.
  • Prepare for shipment and load hazardous waste destined for off-site recycling/disposal facilities; complete paperwork and inspections associated with shipping hazardous waste.
  • Perform blending of multiple products (splash blending) and packaging into drums and totes.
  • Clean and maintain warehouse/tank farm and equipment.
  • Adhere to company quality processes, as applicable.
  • Assist to resolve product quality issues in an efficient and timely manner, as applicable.
  • Perform all other duties as required.
  • Comply with all company policies, rules, and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment.
  • Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry at least 100 lb. net bags for short distances.
  • Ability to read, write, count, understand, and speak English.
  • Physical ability to tilt back or break 800 lb. net drums onto a dolly as well as stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Test negative on the company's drug tests.
