Job Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Train and mentor staff for the service
• Coordinate, implement, and evaluate change processes
• Demonstrate commitment to professional improvement and advancement of perioperative nursing through education, research, and clinical practice
• Work closely with nurse manager to ensure smooth operation of the department

Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• BSN strongly preferred
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas
• Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification required
