We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Manager to lead our dietary department at Willow Ridge Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and directing the operations of our food service area, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise staff members engaged in food preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness of all food service areas and equipment
- Develop and update dietary services policies and procedures
- Monitor staff compliance with company, state, and federal regulatory workplace safety standards
- Supervise and organize food preparation and service to ensure timely delivery to residents
- Provide food substitutes of similar nutritional value for residents as needed
- Collaborate with nursing staff to identify and address resident nutritional requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Thorough understanding of policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations applicable to long-term care industry
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two to four years related experience and/or training preferred
