Position Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Engineer to enhance our quality assurance efforts at NEL Frequency Controls. The Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our frequency control products adhere to the highest quality and reliability standards, complying with industry regulations and fulfilling customer expectations.

This position offers the chance to engage in innovative projects within the frequency control domain. We emphasize professional development and foster collaboration across various departments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive quality assurance protocols, procedures, and flowcharts across the organization.
  • Conduct detailed inspections and evaluations of electronic components and systems to verify adherence to industry benchmarks.
  • Detect, document, and rectify quality discrepancies and non-conformities.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Carry out root cause analysis and establish preventive strategies to mitigate the recurrence of quality challenges, ensuring compliance with 8D reporting.
  • Maintain and revise quality documentation, including inspection reports, testing outcomes, and quality records.
  • Engage in internal and external audits to confirm compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Deliver training and guidance to team members on quality assurance methodologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Quality Engineer within the electronics sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality assurance practices, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Familiarity with electronic testing instruments and software.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to upholding high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in quality assurance (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma).
  • Understanding of frequency control products and associated standards.
  • Experience in reliability testing and failure analysis.
  • Over 5 years of relevant industry experience.
