Position Title: Formulation Scientist

Role Overview:

We are in search of a committed Formulation Scientist to engage in the development of chemical formulations for various products, including emulsions, dispersions, suspensions, and coatings. This position entails managing and supervising several projects from the initial development phase through to production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scale up formulations for manufacturing.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments for new product formulations.
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes.
  • Engage in research activities to remain updated with industry advancements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and external laboratories.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new laboratory staff.

Work Environment:

This role is based in a laboratory setting, with approximately 70-75% of the time dedicated to laboratory work, 20-25% to meetings and administrative tasks, and 5-10% to maintenance and remedial lab activities. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with potential for overtime as necessary.
