Job Summary

Acelero Learning is seeking a dedicated and socially conscious P-3 Certified Teacher to join our team of early childhood education professionals. As a P-3 Certified Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a range of instructional, assessment, and positive behavioral support strategies to ensure educational excellence in a Head Start classroom for a maximum of fifteen year-old children.

Key Responsibilities
  • CLASS Teacher-Child Interactions: Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development in young children.
  • Learning Environment: Design and implement a safe, engaging, and well-organized learning space that encourages exploration and discovery.
  • Curriculum: Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with state and national standards, and meets the diverse needs of children.
  • Child Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's progress, identify areas of strength and weakness, and inform instruction.
  • Meeting All Children's Needs: Provide individualized support to ensure that all children, including those with special needs, have access to high-quality educational experiences.
  • Working with Families: Build strong relationships with families to promote a sense of community, share information, and involve them in their child's education.
  • Professional Growth and Collaboration: Participate in ongoing professional development, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Early Childhood Education or a related field with at least six (6) courses in Early Childhood Education.
  • Teacher Certification: P-3, CE, CEAS, or Standard certification required.
  • Experience: Teaching preschool-aged children preferred.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingual Spanish-English preferred.
