The Young Men's Christian Association Raritan Bay Area is seeking applications for a certified Early Childhood Educator for our Learning Center. A New Jersey P-3, CE, or CEAS is required to be considered for this position.

This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a vibrant, expanding organization dedicated to community service. The YMCA has been a cornerstone of support for our community, focusing on Healthy Living, Youth Development, and Social Responsibility.

Under the guidance of the Preschool Director, the Early Childhood Educator will deliver a high-quality educational experience utilizing the Creative Curriculum, ensuring a nurturing environment for the children and families in their care, with assistance from a Teacher Assistant.

Salary range: $50,000-$54,000/annually*

*based on academic year - 10 months

Requirements

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Early Education; along with a State of New Jersey Teaching Certification (P-3), a CE, or a CEAS in P3.
  • Previous experience teaching Pre-K children ages 3 to 5 years old, preferably in a daycare setting, is required.
