Customer Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Associate to join our Food Lion team. This key role involves providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean store environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They should be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch customer service by greeting each customer, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, handle customer transactions accurately, and maintain a neat and organized workspace.
- Maintain knowledge of office procedures, including cash reports, register checkups, deposits, Western Union, money orders, and Coinstar.
- Ensure the MVP savings center KIOSK is filled with paper and properly working, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center
- Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
Estimated Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 per year
