As a valued member of our team, you will create a safe, enjoyable, and clean atmosphere for the pets in our facility. All new hires are required to complete an online training program in pet care, followed by three days of hands-on training.

Essential Duties:

  • Walk multiple dogs in varying weather conditions.
  • Conduct initial consultations with new clients and gather necessary information.
  • Document details regarding the dogs walked, including duration and any notable observations.
  • Safely transport pets to and from their residences.
  • Manage pet waste disposal responsibly.
  • Ensure all pets have access to fresh water and food as needed.
  • Coordinate appropriate walking schedules for the dogs.
  • Implement safety measures to protect the dogs and the public.
  • Provide regular updates to pet owners, including photos and location tracking.
  • Alert owners to any health issues or injuries that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience as a dog walker, shelter volunteer, or in personal animal care.
  • Ability to recognize various dog breeds and their behaviors.
  • A genuine passion for animal care.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Physical stamina to maintain cleanliness in all daycare areas.
  • Familiarity with different types of dog harnesses, leashes, and collars.
