We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Aide at the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our meal programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals to participants in our grab-and-go and congregate meal programs.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and equipment to meet food safety standards.
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required.
  • Prepare and serve refreshments for participants as needed.
  • Clean and maintain the participant dining room.
  • Store, heat, and serve meals according to the caterer's specification.
  • Pack home-delivered meals according to the caterer's specification.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in food service is preferred.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus.
Work Environment

This role operates in a kitchen and food service environment. The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and telephone. Light to moderate lifting is required, up to 25 pounds. The employee is exposed to kitchen environment conditions, including moderate noise and the ability to work in a confined area.
