We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Kitchen Aide to join our team at the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, preparing, and serving meals to our participants, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and count caterer's invoices;
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and facilities to meet food safety standards;
  • Prepare and serve refreshments for participants as needed;
  • Clean and maintain participant dining room;
  • Store, heat, and serve meals according to caterer's specifications;
  • Pack home-delivered meals according to caterer's specifications.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required;
  • Previous experience in food service preferred;
  • ServSafe certification a plus.
Work Environment

This role operates in a kitchen and food service environment, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a moderate noise environment.
