Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician Mechanic to join our team at Ryder in Denver, CO.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventative maintenance, oil changes, brake and tire work.

The successful candidate will also have a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) and be able to obtain a CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsibilities will include performing vehicle maintenance and repair duties, performing standard vehicle maintenance, and diagnosing standard mechanical and electronic problems.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for interacting with customers/drivers to properly determine the nature of the complaint, utilizing key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available.
