About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Diesel Mechanic with extensive experience in servicing and repairing CAT equipment, particularly skid steers and loaders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of heavy engines, including Volvo, Mack, and Cummins, and possess a strong background in street sweeper, light truck, and snow removal equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various diesel-powered equipment, including CAT skid steers, loaders, heavy engines (Volvo, Mack, Cummins), street sweepers, light trucks, and snow removal equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
  • Conduct major overhauls on engines and transmissions.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and hydraulic components.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced mechanics.
  • Assist with equipment inspections and certifications.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
  • Proven expertise in servicing and repairing CAT equipment, especially skid steers and loaders.
  • In-depth knowledge of heavy engines (Volvo, Mack, Cummins).
  • Experience with street sweeper, light truck, and snow removal equipment maintenance is highly preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • CDL a plus.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

Compensation for this position is $36.00 hourly, depending on experience.
