X-Ray Technician Lead Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced X-Ray Technician Lead to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for leading a team of x-ray technicians and ensuring the efficient operation of radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray films as directed by care providers and performing routine diagnostic procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of x-ray technicians to ensure effective workflow and patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain high-quality standards in diagnostic imaging.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and techniques in diagnostic imaging.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
