Overview
This position is ideal for a charismatic leader who thrives on engaging with guests and fostering a positive atmosphere. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about hospitality and values the well-being of their team members.
Key Responsibilities
As the Front Desk Manager, you will oversee the daily functions of the front office and breakfast personnel. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and implementing departmental strategies and objectives.
- Conducting regular inspections of the front office, breakfast area, and public spaces to maintain a welcoming environment for guests.
- Serving as the manager on duty as required.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 pounds.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Marriott and Lightspeed systems is advantageous.
- A high school diploma or GED; or a combination of education and experience.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the hotel industry is preferred.
- Management experience is essential.
