Job Title: Radiology Vice Chair of Quality and Safety

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Radiology Vice Chair of Quality and Safety. This individual will play a critical role in leading the quality and safety mission of the Department of Radiology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Department Chair and other leaders to establish quality and safety priorities.
  • Link quality and safety priorities with the Department's strategic vision.
  • Define and refine the quality and safety missions of the Department of Radiology.
  • Execute the Department's response to relevant quality incentive programs.
  • Co-Chair the Department's Collaborative Case Review conference and Quality Committee.
  • Assist with coordinating, monitoring, and improving quality, safety, efficiencies, and services in the Department of Radiology.
  • Plan and implement quality improvement programs to address areas of quality opportunity.
  • Interface with patients, respond to their concerns, and identify areas of improvement.
  • Serve as a physician mentor for Department of Radiology faculty and trainees.
  • Teach quality improvement for Department of Radiology faculty, trainees, and staff.
  • Engage in quality and safety scholarship.
  • Deliver meaningful and actionable performance data to meet the needs of radiologists and programs.
  • Represent the department at Patient Safety Risk Management and other department meetings.
Requirements:
  • Medical Degree or equivalent.
  • Colorado Medical License.
  • ABR certified.
  • Fellowship Training.
