Job Summary

BioHire Health is seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Facilities Engineering program. As Executive Director, Facilities Operations, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to our facilities management departments, ensuring safe and efficient operations across multiple properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve facilities management operations and services.
    • Provide direction and oversight to facilities management departments, including engineering, plant operations, and facilities management.
  • Facilities Management
    • Ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all buildings, equipment, machinery, systems, and grounds keeping.
    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of facilities systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and regulatory agencies.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Project Management
    • Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction and renovation projects, including design review, coordination with architects, and contract negotiation.
    • Manage budgets and control expenditures to meet productivity targets.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of facilities management professionals.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 7 years of management experience in facilities management, engineering, or business/operations services.
    • At least 7 years of experience in facilities management, including overseeing both soft and hard facilities services.
  • Skills
    • Exceptional client relationship skills with a focus on maintaining internal and external customer satisfaction.
    • Strong technical knowledge of facilities systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
    • In-depth knowledge of and experience with regulatory compliance, including TJC, OSHA, Life Safety, and local, state, and federal regulations.
