Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor projects to ensure deliverables are met and provide expert knowledge of roadmaps and strategic views of enterprise dependency, program solution delivery.
  • Oversee budget and forecast, providing leadership on external advocacy efforts and strategic direction.
  • Manage requirements, strategic projects, reports, analysis, and deadlines, overseeing steering and advisory committees in creating executive documents.
  • Create internal and external communication strategies, including responses to inquiries and requests for information from external parties.
  • Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate the performance of direct reports, traveling to worksites and other locations as necessary.
Requirements
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • PMP certification, PMO experience, and experience in leading a team of project managers are preferred.
  • Health insurance industry experience is strongly preferred, as is the ability to lead and facilitate end-to-end execution activities across IT and business/operational partners.
  • Polished communication skills, including the ability to create internal executive reporting and client-facing content, are also preferred.
