Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to all customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Answer customer questions and provide information about products and services.
  • Cash Handling
    • Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
    • Count and balance cash register at the end of each shift.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
    • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift.
  • Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
  • Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
  • Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift.
  • Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands.
