Job Title: RN Resident

Halifax Health – Medical Center of Port Orange is seeking a skilled RN Resident to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit.

Job Summary

The RN Resident will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, collect, and document data to identify nursing diagnoses. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with peers and other professional disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Establish, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care and discharge plans.
  • Provide responsible and accountable nursing care based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
  • Engage in collaborative relationships with peers and other professional disciplines.
  • Assume responsibility for professional growth and accountability.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a RN in the State of Florida.
  • Bachelor degree/diploma/associate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Certifications as required by individual unit/area.
  • Professionalism in interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel.
  • Personal professional development, accountability, organization, and leadership in the performance of professional nursing practice.
  • Must be customer-service oriented and able to effectively communicate and build relationships with co-workers and key stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
