Therapist (Virtual) - Eating Disorders Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Therapist (Virtual) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Program Director. This is a Per Diem position with some evening availability preferred. Licensure in MA required, licensure in CT preferred.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical social work and case management in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care and the NASW.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, utilization review, and discharge planning for an average of 8 patients.
- Manage cases in both the partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs for eating disorders.
- Manage cases for primarily the adult population with an expectation of some coverage in the adolescent programs.
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy.
- Conduct crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources.
- Work to ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with the treatment team and Walden continuum.
- Provide clinical supervision to unlicensed staff as needed.
- Education: PhD, PsyD, Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorders program
- Licensure/Certification: Independent License, preferred. Licensure required in MA, licensure preferred in CT.
- Current CPR certification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize independently
- Ability to multi-task in a changing and fast-paced mental health environment
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
