Adult Therapist

Monte Nido Walden, a leading national specialty healthcare system, is seeking a skilled Adult Therapist to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Program Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, and discharge planning for an average of 6-7 patients.
- Manage cases for primarily with the adult population with the expectation of handling adolescent cases, as needed.
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy.
- Conduct crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources.
- Work to ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with the treatment team and Walden continuum.
Requirements:
- PhD, PsyD, Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
- Minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorders program
- Independent License preferred
- CPR certification, required
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships processes, age-specific growth and development, limit setting, and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors.
