Adult Therapist Job Description

At Walden Behavioral Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to individuals struggling with eating disorders. As an Adult Therapist, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Program Director
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, and discharge planning for an average of 6-7 patients
  • Manage cases for primarily adult patients, with the expectation of handling adolescent cases as needed
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
Requirements:
  • PhD, PsyD, Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorders program
  • Ability to multi-task in a changing and fast-paced mental health environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
