Virtual Design & Construction Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Design & Construction Specialist to join our IT Group. This role requires proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, strong knowledge of construction principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process CAD/Revit files to meet Cannistraro's standards for coordination.
  • Provide initial files at the start of a project, setup with title block, layout tabs, and backgrounds.
  • Organize and file all design documents throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Setup Autodesk Construction Cloud Folders and Clash Models.
  • Conduct coordination reviews to resolve conflicts in the virtual environment before construction begins.
  • Assist Coordination with software and/or background issues when they arise.
  • Develop documents for internal processes and host user training meetings.
  • Operate a Laser scanner to capture existing conditions on jobsites.
  • Support Automation efforts to streamline processes.
Requirements:
  • Years' Experience: 1+ years of experience
  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent related experience

Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
