Job Description

Swank Early Skills Development LLC is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement ABA therapy plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help children acquire new skills and reduce problem behaviors.
  • Collect and record data on client progress, including behavior frequency, duration, and intensity.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to parents and caregivers on ABA techniques and strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • Experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
