Ryder System is hiring a full-time Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role offers an estimated annual salary of $62,000 - $70,000 based on the location and industry standards.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a key member of our warehouse automation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience with basic hand and power tools, as well as intermediate knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment. They will also possess working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems.

In this role, you will ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate, maintain spare parts inventories, and participate in the development of maintenance policies and procedures.

You will work independently in a safe manner, including working at heights, and establish work schedules that meet the demands of operating and PM programs.

This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot/program Bar Code Scanners and other Vision Systems.

Requirements
  • Vocational or Technical certification in related field or 3 years of relevant experience required
  • Intermediate knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment required
  • Working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems required
