Job Summary:

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and implementation of clinical quality and safety improvement initiatives across the organization. Your expertise will drive the creation of evidence-based guidelines, principles, and programs to reduce variation in clinical practice, optimize patient outcomes, and ensure organizational compliance. You will lead the collection, analysis, and presentation of clinical data to inform short- and long-term strategy and project goals. Additionally, you will develop strategies for education initiatives, translate external demands into program goals, and serve as an expert resource to the team on monitoring, reporting, and development of mitigation plans for all occurrences that may lead to medical center liability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical quality and safety improvement initiatives to drive organizational compliance and patient outcomes.
  • Lead the collection, analysis, and presentation of clinical data to inform strategy and project goals.
  • Develop strategies for education initiatives and translate external demands into program goals.
  • Serve as an expert resource to the team on monitoring, reporting, and development of mitigation plans for all occurrences that may lead to medical center liability.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of evidence-based guidelines, principles, and programs to reduce variation in clinical practice.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure development of cohesive and reachable metrics that meet multidisciplinary standards and align with KP goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience managing operational or project budgets.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with databases and spreadsheets or continuous quality improvement (CQI) tools.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a clinical setting, health care administration, or a directly related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field.
  • Professional Healthcare Quality Certificate within 24 months of hire.
