Role Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to become a vital member of our Financial Planning and Analysis team. This position will report directly to the FP&A Manager and will play a crucial role in enhancing our financial performance through detailed analysis and the upkeep of essential financial models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial outcomes in conjunction with the Accounting team during month-end closures to identify historical trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Perform variance analysis at various levels including account, country, and department.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive financial review packages that clarify variances against budget and forecasts.
- Maintain and update financial models to ensure accuracy and relevance of data.
- Collaborate with management to comprehend the interplay between financial models and uphold data integrity.
- Implement forecast adjustments as directed by management to keep rolling forecasts and supporting models current.
- Oversee the maintenance of Qliksense and NSPB support tools, ensuring data is consistently reviewed and updated.
- Identify opportunities to transition reporting processes from traditional Excel formats to advanced BI tools.
- Ensure data reconciliation with the system of record and effectively communicate key insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and sustain reporting processes and conduct ad-hoc analyses based on identified business opportunities or risks.
- Research and analyze key metrics, ratios, and KPIs that significantly impact the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting is required.
- Familiarity with Accounting and ERP systems is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets and analyze substantial data sets.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate analyses efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-sufficient.
- Adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Experience with relational databases, data manipulation tools, and report writing software.
- Familiarity with BI Tools, ERP Systems, and management report generation.
