Job Summary

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial and accounting activities for the company. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting and finance requirements, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget management, financial analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting relevant data points.
  • Participate in monthly customer billing and process customer payments into banking deposits.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
  • Perform reconciliation activities, including bank account, credit card, and other statements and schedules.
  • Achieve budgeting goals through proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action.
  • Support short and long-term operational strategies of the department and company.
  • Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with GAAP accounting and revenue standards.
  • Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
Requirements
  • Strong budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Ability to work closely with peers, senior management, and the executive team.
  • Management and leadership skills.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
