A Room Attendant is primarily tasked with ensuring that guest accommodations, corridors, and communal areas within the hotel are kept clean and visually appealing. This includes daily servicing of guest rooms in line with hotel protocols, preparing the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, changing bed linens, and restocking guest amenities while adhering to company standards and safety regulations.

In certain situations, this role may also involve performing 'deep cleaning' tasks within guest rooms alongside preventative maintenance duties.

Must perform well in high-pressure situations.

Essential Duties:
Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a courteous, service-oriented manner.


Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with company standards as dictated by scheduling, which may vary based on hotel needs.


Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (as per brand standards).

Adhere to company standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Thoroughly clean and restock the designated number of guest rooms during each shift.

Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including but not limited to preparing the housekeeping cart with guest supplies, cleaning products, and linens.

Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

May be required to disassemble furniture or items in the guest room to facilitate deep cleaning.


Deep cleaning tasks may encompass, but are not limited to, changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, addressing scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.
