Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range for this position reflects a nationwide market range and encompasses a wide array of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary will be influenced by various factors, including the role's scope, complexity, and location, as well as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience. Additionally, employees are eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.

What Is the Opportunity?
Under general supervision and as a member of the local line of business (LOB) management team, you will oversee product quality and performance for a designated team of Outside Property claim professionals. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance and direction to direct reports through ongoing management involvement and regular claim file reviews. You will also serve as a field representative for the Home Office Property product as needed, reinforcing LOB Vision, Strategies, and Objectives through your actions.
What Will You Do?
- Attract, Retain and Develop Top Talent:
- Proactively recruit talent and collaborate with management to establish and implement a strategic staffing plan.
- Ensure effective orientation and onboarding processes.
- Manage staff performance and implement strategies for development, identifying training needs on an ongoing basis.
- Work with management to create and execute effective training, performance development, and succession planning.
- Implement effective retention strategies and proactively manage turnover.
- Utilize reward systems to recognize top performers and significant achievements.
- Provide Exceptional Claim Services:
- Employ proper claim handling techniques to uphold our brand's integrity, ensuring consistent service quality and streamlined processes that add value for our customers.
- Develop and execute a strategic file management plan to achieve optimal file resolution and business outcomes.
- Provide both face-to-face and written guidance to ensure effectiveness, engagement, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Review new notices, ensuring claims are assigned to staff with the appropriate skill sets.
- Conduct quality file reviews in accordance with office/best practices guidelines.
- Participate in ride-along inspections/reinspections with claim professionals to provide coaching and feedback.
- Establish and follow up on file reviews per diary instructions, conducting additional reviews as necessary.
- Implement strategies to enhance file quality, customer service, and manage costs.

- Essential Functions:
- Acquisition and maintenance of Insurance License(s) may be required to comply with state and Travelers requirements.
- Access and inspect all areas of a dwelling or structure, which may require physical demands such as carrying, setting up, and climbing a ladder.

What is a Must Have?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of three years of claim work experience in at least one line of business required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
