Job Summary

The Revenue Authority of Prince George's County is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Abandoned Vehicle Enforcement Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Abandoned Vehicle Unit, you will be responsible for enforcing parking regulations and removing abandoned vehicles from public streets and private property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field inspections to identify and remove abandoned vehicles
  • Enforce parking regulations and issue citations as necessary
  • Collaborate with other county departments to remove vehicles from private property
  • Patrol designated parking areas to monitor and regulate parking
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of vehicle removals and citations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field, such as parking enforcement or law enforcement
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Pass a background investigation
