We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at ABM Services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and implementing effective EHS programs across our locations.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the client EHS team to ensure a safe working environment and implement EHS programs at scale.
- Assist clients with implementing and executing specific EHS programs, coordinating the ABM team's efforts through to implementation.
- Ensure timely reporting of EHS-related events, including injuries, near misses, safety concerns, and good catches.
- Implement and evaluate safety efforts to effectively communicate and support ABM safety policies.
- Ensure subcontractors are properly trained and qualified to safely perform their scope of work.
- Participate in site risk assessments and lead the development of Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs).
- Lead regularly scheduled safety audits, risk assessments, inspections, training, and meetings.
- Conduct accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA recordkeeping requirements.
- BS/BA in Safety Management, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health Technology, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in an EHS role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work on a team and collaborate with coworkers.
- Successful implementation of injury reduction initiatives.
- Proficient in Google Suite and other Google products.
