Patient Care Consultant Job Description

The Patient Care Consultant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a unique shopping experience that drives sales results. This role is responsible for providing concierge-level service to customers, conducting day-to-day operations within the retail location, and adhering to company policy and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and concerns, and directing customers to relevant products and services.
  • Lead tours of the sales floor, making product recommendations based on ongoing research and knowledge of available products.
  • Retain comprehensive knowledge of customer and member benefits, discounts, coupons, and promotions, and encourage memberships for guests.
  • Abide by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies, and regulatory agency compliance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store by stocking retail items and supplies, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
  • Operate cash registers, computer-based POS systems, and cash drawers.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure sales, guest satisfaction, and designated timelines meet compliance goals.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in any field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service in retail.
  • Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills, both over the phone and in-person.
  • Occasional local travel and desk-based computer tasks may be required.
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, grasping, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
