Job Title: Mechanical Design Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a Mechanical Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing mechanical equipment according to customer and company specifications. You will work collaboratively with designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to produce high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design mechanical equipment using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop new and current fertilizer equipment
  • Produce equipment models, detailed drawings for manufacturing, and field assembly drawings
  • Identify and implement design improvements

Requirements:

  • 2-year degree in mechanical design or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • CAD experience
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams
