Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Credentialing Specialist to support our Corporate operations in San Antonio, TX. This hybrid role requires on-site attendance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full credential or privilege process for DoD candidates and clients from start to finish.
  • Maintain critical timelines and ensure seamless progress.
  • Conduct second interviews with privileged providers to discuss the privilege process.
  • Present candidates for all personal service contract approval.
  • Coordinate interviews between DoD sites and candidates.
  • Collect and verify credentials, education, licenses, and certifications for Credentialing and Privileging packages.
  • Complete employment verifications and reference checks.
  • Gather security documents, ID's, and coordinate fingerprint appointments and eQIP for Security packages.
  • Review current records and compile concise lists of outstanding items for Occupational Health Packages.
  • Coordinate first-day, in-processing, and onboarding between site and candidate.
  • Complete DoD employment verification forms.
  • Maintain client relations for 2–16 weeks during credentialing/privileging.
  • Provide candidate support and engagement throughout the process.
  • Maintain Joint Commission worksheets for the Corporate office.
  • Track dates/delays to assist with company metrics.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per year, based on experience.
