Job Summary:

We are seeking a Durable Medical Equipment Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing order processing, new patient set-ups, and existing patient requests. Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with referral sources and patients to collect necessary paperwork and information
  • Process customer accounts and file documents electronically
  • Manage incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Verify Medicare and private insurance coverage information and maintain expertise on insurance requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or related fields
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
